Biography
Wayne Moor is a photographer with a keen interest in alternative and vintage printing processes, including oil pigment hand coated silver gelatin emulsion and alcohol gel transfer.
The alcohol gel process
The alcohol gel process starts with a printed image on transfer film, which is left to dry.
The transfer gel is mixed with 91% isopropyl alcohol and left overnight to form a transfer solution.
The transfer solution is then applied to the substrate and then the film is rolled onto the gel. This is then timed depending on the substrate, then the film is peeled back leaving the image behind.
